FAQs About Car Window Repairs & Tinting

As car owners, we love our vehicles. They mean a lot to us. We want to take care of them and keep them looking their best. Our car windows are made of glass, and glass can be damaged easily. Thankfully, you can have windshields and windows repaired or replaced. It is a common service that many car owners experience at some point in their life. Yet, most know very little about the process and have many questions regarding window repair services. Below you will find some of the frequently asked questions that we get from our clients and their respective answers:

  • How long do window repair appointments take?

The amount of time it takes to get your window repaired will depend on whether you need a repair or a replacement. Repairing small cracks and chips in your auto glass can typically be repaired within 15 minutes. If you need to replace your glass, it can take up to a few hours.

  • Do you work with auto insurance companies?

Yes, we work with auto insurance providers to help cover the cost of your windshield repairs. If you do not have glass coverage, we do accept most major credit cards and cash.

  • Is my car window repairable?

Windshields with cracks or chips can only be repaired if they stay small enough. Chips that are one inch or less in diameter and cracks three inches or less can all be repaired. If they are larger than that, you will need to replace the car window.

  • Are car tints legal in Bryan, TX?

Yes, window tints are legal in Texas. There are limits on how dark the tints can be though. For example, windshields can only be tinted up to 25% and must have less than 25% reflection.

  • Can you inspect vehicles too?

Yes, we are licensed by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles to perform vehicle inspections.
